Your instructor

Tim Dabney was born in Chattanooga, TN.  Later his family moved to West Virginia where he spent his childhood.   

Growing up in a poor, single parent family with his mother, a brother and two sisters, Tim developed an affection for people who struggled to succeed and especially those who struggle to recognize their own potential. After college, he discovered that he had a natural gift for bringing out the best in people through training and mentoring.    

For over 30 years Tim has been building teams and training leaders in both for profit and nonprofit organizations. He is an accomplished communicator, a recognized leader and an encouraging mentor.  

During his career Tim has trained fast food franchise owners, managers in several retail industries, written and taught training programs in retail, youth organizations, the software industry, real estate and much more. His casual, quirky and often humorous teaching method produces enthusiastic results in the classroom and beyond.   

More than anything, Tim cares about and truly loves people. His goal is simple: Help people discover their potential and find success. If you are in the room with Tim, you will laugh a lot, engage more than you expect, and leave better equipped to be a hero.
